From a reader:

Gee, all your stuff resonates so strongly with me.

I recently began doing coffee enemas with instructions from Premier
Research Labs in Round Rock, Texas, which is run by a
biochemist/nutritionist, Dr. Bob Marshall (www.prlabs.com), whose
research and products are very high end and pristine, with the
products priced reasonably. What I would add to what you have
provided are the following:
~ Premier's quantity is one quart with two tablespoons of beans,
done in two rounds (which may be more comfortable for some people).
~ The coffee beans are to be freshly ground before each enema to
preserve the phytonutrients.
~ During the first few enemas, there may be nausea during or after
due to toxin release.
~ Premier also recommends some additions to the water of their
products (capsules broken open) for immune support or female
hormone balancing, as well as drinking a cup of half aloe, half
water after the enema.

The Web site is worth a visit, and the toll-free number has trained
staff at the other end who can pass on a practitioner list as well.

~ Premier sells (cheap) a biocompatible-plastic enema bucket, so we
can all avoid the rubber or whatever.
~ Their #D-54 Premier Coffee Enema Procedure sheet is one of the
most clearly and comprehensively written set of instructions I've
ever experienced.

Great article! I've been using coffee enemas for years, though now only occasionally. Actually it's the caffeine that stimulates the peristaltic action, so that's another reason that decaf should not be used. I first started with them when I had a problem with candida albicans. My doctor loaned me a book entitled "The Yeast Syndrome" by Dr. John Trowbridge and he recommended the coffee enema in it. In fact, he said in his opinion that's the only way you should take coffee. Interesting that now they are finding coffee is good for a number of health issues.
